Jeffrey W. Miller, DVM graduated from the University of California Davis in 1974. He is the owner of Vets for Less, Inc., and has practiced exclusively on small animals for over 38 years.
Jeff grew up on a farm in Connecticut and came west while serving in the United States Navy. His outside interests include farming and Field Trialing English Springer Spaniels on pheasants.
In 2014 Jeff was inducted into the Field Trial Hall of Fame
in Grand Junction, Tennessee for his accomplishments with
his English Springer Spaniels. Two of Jeff's dogs are also in the Field Trial Hall of Fame, and five of Jeff's dogs have become National Field Trial Champions in the United States and Canada.
Jeff's expertise as a dog trainer has been invaluable in helping our clients who have pets with behavior problems. He understands the AKC show and field areas, and understands the needs of our clients involved in these events. Jeff has also written numerous articles for dog magazines, and has been featured on an episode of "Breed All About It" on the Animal Planet.
Jeff lives on a farm in Rochester, WA with his wife Sheila and their daughter Grace.

BenDetta Dickerson, DVM graduated from Washington State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, in 1996. She wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 8 years old. She comes from a background of small animal medicine with an emphasis in both exotic animals and pocket pets.
She has been with Vets For Less since 2007.
Although BenDetta was born in Stamford, CT, she lived in Seattle for most of her life and is the oldest of four children. She graduated from Cleveland High School and has worked in veterinary medicine off and on since she was 17 years old. She has worked at both daytime practices and at an emergency clinic. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from WSU. She did, however, take a break from veterinary medicine to work in the legal field. She worked in both litigation and bankruptcy before applying to veterinary school.
Her two large dogs and geriatric cat take up most of her spare time. She enjoys reading mysteries, cooking, and watching her favorite show ("Monk") on television. She is also in the process of writing a cookbook.

Ron Barringham, DVM
graduated from the Washington State University School of
Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and completed a surgical
internship in 2009. Dr. Barringham joined the Vets
for Less team in 2012.
A native of Washington State, "Dr. B" enjoys the outdoors, is
an avid reader and humor enthusiast, an animal lover and
skilled handyman. He has traveled extensively
throughout Western Europe and looks forward to future world
travel opportunities.
To his family's delight, he also knows his way around a
kitchen (his "elephant ears" are unparalleled). A
devoted family man, he and his girlfriend live in Graham with
daughters Ailee and Maryn, two dogs, a cat and a Shetland
pony.

Sharon (Xiaoqing) Teng, DVM
graduated from the Washington State University School of
Veterinary Medicine in 2018, after prior receiving her
Bachelor of Science in zoology at WSU in 2014.
Sharon enjoys hiking, snowboarding,
traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Sharon has one cat, a shorthaired tabby
named Tofu.

Cazzeri "Caz" Upton, Clinic Bookkeeper
Cazzeri is our Clinic Bookkeeper. She
started at our practice in February 2014 working as a Veterinary Receptionist,
where she still supervises and assists, and she is also a
Registered Veterinary Medication Clerk. She
grew up in her grandma's grooming shop in the Renton
Highlands, "Granny's Pad Grooming". She also helped breed,
show and race her families coveted Whippets. Having moved back to
Washington after living near Monterey Bay in central
California for a few years, "Caz", as she
usually goes by, has a beautiful daughter named Ramona and a
lovely little one-eyed Shih Tzu who answers to Gnarly.
In her free time she enjoys strumming along to old folk songs
on her mandolin.

Jennifer Morris, Lead LVT, Patient Care Manager
Jennifer is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who graduated
from the veterinary technology program at Pierce College in 2001. She joined Vets For Less in April 2009.
Jennifer has worked in the veterinary profession since 1994.
She has a passion for veterinary dental care, and has been a
member of the American Veterinary Dental Association since
2006. Her hobbies include running, biking, fishing, and camping with her husband. She has
three cats, two females named Goldie and Tina and one male named Kruger.

Jessie Reynolds, LVT
Jessie is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She
graduated with her Associates Degree in Veterinary
Technology from the PIMA Medical Institute in Renton and
passed her VTNE in December 2016.
She has known ever since she was a young child that she
wanted her life to revolve around animals. She has a cat
named Koda, whom she adopted as an abandoned kitten, and a
dog named Chester, whom she adopted after he was abandoned
as well. In her free time Jessie enjoys running, hiking,
drawing, and spending time with her friends and family.

Jess English, LVT
Jess is a Licensed
Veterinary Technician. She graduated with her
Associates Degree in
Veterinary Technology from the PIMA Medical Institute
in Renton in 2015.
Jess grew up in Wyoming and has always
owned a bunch of animals. She has known she wanted to work
in the veterinary field since she was a child. Prior to
joining the Vets For Less team Jess
worked at a cats only practice for a year, and prior to
attending the PIMA Medical Institute she served for 8 years
in the United States Navy. Jess has a long
coated tri-colored Chihuahua named Gizmo, four cats
named Nina, Mishka, Ivan and Kira, and four ferrets, Milo,
Loki, Isis, and Jinx. In her free time Jess enjoys
motocross, hunting, fishing, hiking and camping with her
boyfriend Brandon, whom she met in the Navy, and she assists
with the Hope Hounds Diabetic Alert Dog Foundation.

Jessica Lockwood, LVT
Jessica is a Licensed
Veterinary Technician. She graduated with her
Associates Degree in
Veterinary Technology from the PIMA Medical Institute
in 2016.
Prior to joining Vets For Less Jessica
worked for 4 years in other veterinary practices, and ran
her own ferret rescue. She is married with two lovely
children, Madilyn and Wyatt. In her free time she enjoys
hiking, going places with her dogs and kids, movies,
music and cooking. Jessica has a
lab-Doberman mix named Buddy, a border collie - heeler mix
named Rosie, four cats (Oreo, Mr. Smee, Sally, and Baloo), a
Russian Tortoise named Master Uguay, an African Grey parrot
named Tuesday, and two ferrets, Rapunzel and Ryder.

Debbie
Debbie
is our lead Veterinary Assistant and Registered Veterinary Medication
Clerk. She has worked for Vets For Less, Inc since November
2000, and has worked at this Federal Way clinic since its
opening day in June 2004. She has five wonderful children,
three
dogs, five cats, and a cockatiel.

Kaitlin
Kaitlin is a Veterinary Assistant and
Registered Veterinary Medication Clerk. Prior to
joining our team she volunteered at the Point Defiance Zoo and
Aquarium for 3 years, and she is working towards obtaining a
degree in Environmental Science. Kaitlin owns two
Papillion dogs, Angel and Valentine, and two cats, Midnight
and Skylar. In her free time she enjoys reading and
volunteering at the zoo and at the Tacoma Art Museum.

Taylor
Taylor a Veterinary Receptionist and
Registered Veterinary Medication Clerk. She was
raised in a family owned and operated veterinary practice, and
had six years of prior working experience at that practice as
well as an exotic animal veterinary clinic in Kansas. She also
previously worked at the Great Plains Humane Society prior to
moving to Washington. Taylor is looking forward to pursuing a
degree in veterinary technology. She is married to her middle
school sweetheart, Drake, and they have a son named DJ.
Taylor also owns a Chihuahua named Neeko and a cat named
Ellie. In her free time she enjoys trips to the peach or
anywhere water related with her family, and also antiquing and
working on her home.

Aundrea
Aundrea is a Veterinary Receptionist. She
grew up raising animals, and as she got older she would rescue
and tend to any animals she found that were injured, leading
her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Aundrea has two
cats, Sophie and Howl. In her free time she enjoys
drawing, reading science fiction and mystery novels, and
spending time with her cats.

Sarah
Sarah is a Veterinary Assistant. Prior to
joining our team she worked as a groomer in a pet salon for 3
years. She is currently attending college to obtain her
associates degree in wildlife biology, and hopes to eventually
obtain a masters degree in zoology. Sarah has a
lab/German shepherd/Border Collie cross dog named Copper, who
is her best friend. In her free time she enjoys spending time
with her boyfriend, being active in the outdoors, and fishing.

Dietrich
Dietrich is a Veterinary Assistant. He is
also currently attending college, with a goal of becoming a
Game Warden. Dietrich has one dog, an Australian Shepherd name
Tank. In his free time he enjoys drawing, fishing, spending
time with his family, and he also admits to being a little bit
of a gamer.
